Objective:

  • Preparation of periodical monitoring reports under VCS/Verra.

  • VCS/Verra is a widely recognized and widely used voluntary greenhouse gas (GHG) program. The standard provides a robust framework for the measurement, monitoring, and verification of GHG emission reduction projects.

  • St. Nikola Wind Park project objective is to generate sustainable electric energy from wind, aligning with Bulgaria's renewable energy target and UN SDG 13: Climate Action.

Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Preparation of periodical monitoring reports and verification of generated Verified Emission Reductions (VER) issued by VCS/Verra mechanism.

Climate-Related Targets:

  • Contributes to global resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related hazards.

  • Generates GHG emission reductions, aligning with national policies.

Education and Capacity Building:

  • Improves awareness and capacity for climate change mitigation and adaptation.
