About Us
Green Carbon Bulgaria stands as a leading expert in climate change consultancy within Bulgaria and the region.
Established in 2011 as the successor to Global Carbon Bulgaria, a subsidiary of the Dutch company Global Carbon BV, our collective experience spans 12 years.
During this time, we have consistently delivered expert consultancy services to governments, banks, international organisations, as well as large and small companies across diverse industries in Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Turkey, Greece, North Macedonia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
Over the years, we have successfully completed more than 50 technical and advisory projects, addressing a comprehensive array of climate change issues.
Our services include:
Carbon footprint calculation, GHG accounting, emission reduction strategies, development of GHG reduction projects under Kyoto Protocol mechanisms and voluntary programs, climate risk assessment and disclosure, carbon-neutral commitments, and integration with ESG reporting.
We assist our clients in estimation and quantification of their carbon footprint, covering direct (Scope 1) and indirect (Scope 2 and 3) emissions. We implement the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and ISO 14064 for consistent and comparable carbon footprint assessments.
We develop and implement strategies and programs to reduce carbon emissions, participate in carbon offsetting initiatives, evaluate climate-related risks, and help organisations set and work towards carbon-neutral or net-zero emissions goals.
